how-to make a water play table

Wednesday, July 27, 2011 – Filed under: Uncategorized ::

“Sometimes, a little water play can really help calm me down”, a little girl I know told me a few weeks back. Hmmm.

With my mom’s sturdy sawing help, we took a basic Ikea table (would have preferred plain wood but our Ottawa store only had white) and cut a hole for a little plastic bin.

Ta-da.

Easy to clean, easy to drain, easy to move around (especially important in our tiny backyard so we don’t kill the grass, just rotate it around :)

    genius.
    If someone doesn’t have a saw, they can use a drill and drill holes all around then pop the wood out :) (what I did for mariann’s play kitchen)

    Cute idea. My daughter loves playing in the sink and usually makes quite a mess. She would love one of these.
