wee wisdom
Yesterday. Caught in a surprise downpour with baby in the sling, older daughter hurrying us home (and there’s only so fast you can go lugging a 28-pound man-cub in a sling). I stopped under a tree for a bit of shelter.
“Don’t stand under a tree in the rain because when you come out from under the tree, the rain will be badder!”
…
Walk on, that is what I’m telling myself these days after we (finally) figured out that our son has a very serious allergy to peanuts and nuts (and dairy and eggs and coconut and the list goes on). Somehow, my little one’s rainstorm advice is coming in very handy these days as I quietly tell myself to face it head on, talk about it, learn about it, go right into it, so to speak, and do whatever we need to do to continue to heal him.
Wee ones have such deep wisdom, and often the way they communicate it is so straight – so clear – so honest, isn’t it?

Oh my & good gracious… those food allergies. So difficult to manage… what is your little man able to eat? Sending you thoughts of strength and good energy…
