Did you feel the shift in gears this week (or even last week?) Exciting new classes, cool evenings, a change in the light. I have a few neat things to share with you today.

I stumbled on this wonderful artist, Mark Hearld, and then saw the book he illustrated – A First Book of Nature. Squirrels and birds are some of my man-cub’s favorite animals (favorite anything) these days, and I think this book would be a beautiful Mama gift. His lithographs are wonderful (that’s one up at the top of today’s post)!

On a more serious note, here‘s a terrifying article if I ever saw one.

And a fabulous set of wooden dinosaur toys. ‘Cause the plastic ones are not nearly as warm in the hand. These are handmade by Imaginationkids.
