A Pillow, Or Two. Or Ten.

It must be my body’s way of subtly telling me it needs more rest. This incessant creative drive I have to make pillows. Especially fluffy, wool-stuffed cloud variety.

I took some beautiful recycled soda pop bottle felt and drew out some cloud shapes the other day, and came up with some kid-sized, Canadian-wool-filled accent pillows. I especially love the light pink one.

So we have a bunch of new additions to our mini pillow collection in the shop, with more coming soon (oh, some stunning vintage Vera scarf pillow shams are on their way).

This one’s a 14″ square Oeko-Tex cotton pillow with orange on the back and an edge bottom zipper closure.

And this ombre Marimekko Poukama is now, sadly, out of print. But we have a tiny little stockpile.

This one is a toddler-sized pillow sham with a midback overlapping envelope closure, made in sweet and soft organic cotton sateeen printed with water-based, non-toxic inks. To sleep on the night sky and say goodnight to the galaxy. It’s in the darkest shade of navy blue.  The suggestion for doing more toddler-sized pillows came from a blog friend & reader, who suggested it when I posed the question in this space about what new things we might consider adding to our shop.

So thank you, thank you, for your ideas!
