- Wonderful article about 6 year old brains, child development and Tee-Vee

- We’ve been loving our elderberry syrup this winter and this 7th generation Ottawa Valley farmer presses his organic elderberries to make the most delicious and healthful stuff

- Loved this post about daily rhythm and its incredible benefits

- Horse wallpaper, above, from Hungarian artist eszkimok

- And, because getting letters (and sending them!) is so much fun – a beautiful handmade Arts & Crafts-style mailbox for your door

- Since cleaning is apparently so much fun to my 21 month-old, we found him a child-sized straw broom so he can sweep to his little heart’s content

- Sugaring off is just around the corner, and this was a great reminder about making taffee on the stove and make-shifting a sugar shack in our backyard – photo, above via Flickr here

- A fabulous perpetual calendar idea (above) that incorporates art, seasons, time, cycles and so much more – from life as a schoolhouse here

Hope you have a marvelous weekend!
